Who We Are

At Navs we're all about helping each other develop a life-changing relationship with God. We believe that ultimately this should radically effect the way we live and relate to others. We want our friends, family, workmates and classmates to experience the same transforming power of the good news that is at work in our lives. We believe that God wants to use us to share His Love with them, and to do this we need to Love and serve them, and be open about the difference that God makes to us on a daily basis. As a community, we strive to support, encourage and challenge each other to keep moving forward in our relationship with God, recognising that each person is at a different place on that journey. We study the bible together to know God better, to find out what He wants from us, and to inspire us to live for him. If this sounds appealing to you please join us. We'd love to get to know you.

What do we do?

  • Sports teams - we have a social soccer team open to everybody
  • Intergenerational meetings with the wider navigators community

I've been involved with Navs for quite a while, about 10 years now, and I've been on staff for a year. What I love about Navs is being part of a community of people who are passionate about following Jesus in their everyday lives and the real difference that that makes. I really enjoy encouraging and helping people with the things that God is challenging them on.

Michal

I've been involved in Navs for 3 years, and have just finished my studies in Computer Science. I'm excited to be the Navs intern for 2010. You'll see me
around a lot during the year. Don't hesitate to contact me for a chat about anything, I'd love to get to know you and I promise not to bite!

Uriah

I'm in 3rd Pro Civil Engineering, and this will be my fourth year at Navs. I live life in the moment, making the most of every opportunity. I have various interests including break dancing, salsa, guitar, snow boarding, surfing, basketball, soccer, tramping... I could go on, but my heart is in studying the bible. I love the Lord, and live for him first. God has given me so much to be thankful for. I'm real chilled and relaxed, so if you've got any questions about Navs or God, hit me up.
